The WalkWell 502 offers a wider version of the famous RigidRocker sole to accommodate patients with ulcerations or other metatarsal wounds. The RigidRocker sole offloads metatarsal pressure up to 20% more than conventional flexible wound care shoes.

Each WalkWell 502 comes with two removable, moldable and modifiable insoles, made of 1/4” Plastazote and 1/4” Poron.

This combination of materials utilizes the efficacy of Plastazote to increase the surface area and reduce pressure on the foot, contri-buting to the reduction of callus formation, and the unique ability of Poron to dramatically reduce vertical vector forces and plantar pressures while providing cushion and shock absorption.

The second insole enables the physician to provide patients with a fresh insert for follow-up visits.

And these WalkWells are constructed with extra depth to accommodate supplementary insoles, as necessary. Additional inserts can be purchased separately.

For flexibility, the WalkWell 502 outer shell is made with neoprene, while a soft fleece lining cushions the foot and adds absorbancy. WalkWell EasyPull Tabs simplify fitting and a padded heel and ankle closure snuggly secures the foot and reduces sheer stress.

The WalkWell 502 is sold in single-units and is available in sizes from women’s 5 to men’s x-large 14.
